Welcome to ARF

Our current headquarters opened in 2003. The 50,500 square foot campus is located in the heart of the East San Francisco Bay Area at 2890 Mitchell Drive, Walnut Creek, California 94598.

Our beautiful adoption and community center is a park-like setting where people of all ages can enjoy positive interactions with animals. In addition to our adoption and animal care center, our headquarters includes a learning center for humane education, state-of-art veterinary facilities, training pavilion, the Pets and Vets Center serving Veterans, an honor wall in our public park, and Lou Russa’s Boutique that sells pet supplies to support lifesaving programs.
